The Business Development Manager establishes strong relationships with junior and senior level supply chain and financial personnel at selected Fortune 100 technology companies to identify opportunities. The main priorities will be developing key new and existing accounts and overall GP growth within the prescribed target base.
Duties and Responsibilities: The specific duties and responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to the following:
• Generate and follow-up on sales leads within account base while developing and maintaining a strong list of contacts within the supply chain in your account base with the goal of opening and expanding the existing business within the targeted accounts. • Working with the Managing Director, develop key account strategies and travel plans to build relationships and business in key target accounts. • Drive requirements into the inside sales force and work to increase the flow of requirements and the opportunities to develop tactical business within key accounts. • Act as Regional Account Manager for key accounts on account base-spearhead bi-weekly planning and coordination sessions and develop programs for increasing GP within these accounts. Communicate effectively with the MD and the inside sales group to leverage existing business relationships while capitalizing on newly established relationships. • Set up visits and meetings with key junior and senior level supply chain and financial personnel within account base to identify opportunities. Anticipate where issues and opportunities may crop up and develop relationships within those areas to capitalize. Act as overall communication liaison and point person for all matters within the account. Handle problems that may come up. • Develop plans to get our client on the AVL of key accounts within the target account base. • Working within the collaborative environment of our client, develop and recommend solid business solutions and lead key contract negotiations. Negotiate service agreements. • Provide both verbal and written feedback following customer engagements.

| Successful candidates will possess a demonstrated ability to develop and sell creative solutions to complex business problems. Our client requires a minimum of 5 years proven success selling business services to Fortune 500 clients. Must have superb written and verbal communication skills (English) along with boardroom level presentation skills. They seek demonstrated evidence of strong analytical and creative problem solving. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred. Experience managing outsourcing relationships and providing supply chain solutions within the electronics industry helpful. |
